The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer is just like any other respectable boy in their small town. He does what he wants, but tries not to get in trouble with his Aunt Polly. He is very clever, and loves to play with his friends. He believes in witch's and superstitions. He wishes he could be like Huck, and do whatever he wants whenever, but he doesn't want o hurt his Aunt Polly's feelings. So he hides what he does wrong.

Next Huckleberry Finn is what mostly everyone in the town See's as a miscreant pariah. He is the son of the town drunk. All the respectable boy's wish they were him. Although everyone thinks he is this horrible child it is apparent that he cares for Tom Sawyer. He admires Tom for going to school, but he can't go because he knows he is different. He wants to be good, though.

Aunt Polly is Tom and Sid's only caretaker, because his mother died and his father's whereabouts are unknown. She is warm-hearted and truly cares for Tom and Sid. She can't even bring herself to properly punish him. She can only show her disappointment when he lies or does something wrong. Having a big heart is her downfall, cause she can't make Tom behave.

Sid is Tom's little brother. He is always trying to get Tom in trouble. When he did something wrong himself he blamed Tom so he would get in trouble. I think he tries to get Tom in trouble because he wants all of Aunt Polly's attention and love, since he has no one else but her to have as his mother.

Injun Joe is a murderous half Indian pariah. He has a extremely clever, conniving, wily personality. He is even smart enough to kill a man and get away with it. He has no conscience for the greater good. He only cares for himself, and only takes care of himself.
